A Guardian Partnership at Heritage Manor Labradoodles
The Heritage Manor Labradoodles Guardian Home Program is built on trust, responsibility, and shared purpose.
Guardian families are entrusted with one of our carefully selected Australian Labradoodle puppies. These puppies are selected for their structure, movement, temperament, soundness, and coat quality in alignment with the ALAA breed standard. They represent the future of our program and the continuation of everything we have worked so thoughtfully to preserve.
Our guardian puppies are not simply placed. They are intentionally entrusted.
How the Guardian Partnership Works
The Structure of a Guardian Partnership
Guardian dogs are placed in carefully selected homes without a traditional purchase price. This structure allows a Heritage Manor breeding prospect to live as a beloved family companion while remaining part of our program for a defined period of time.
Guardian families provide everyday care, including training, nutrition, socialization, and routine veterinary wellness. Heritage Manor retains breeding rights during the term of the Guardian Agreement and covers all required health testing and program-related reproductive expenses.
This partnership is built on communication, proximity, and mutual trust. It is not a discounted puppy program. It is a shared commitment to responsibly preserving and advancing the Australian Labradoodle.
What We Ask of Our Guardian Families
We are seeking families who will fully embrace the responsibility of raising, training, socialization, and loving their guardian puppy with consistency and care.
Guardian families provide:
- A stable, nurturing home
- Ongoing training and socialization
- Quality nutrition
- Routine veterinary wellness
- Open and timely communication
Because this is a close working partnership, guardians must live within 50 miles of Heritage Manor Labradoodles to ensure accessibility throughout the breeding years.
Health Testing & Evaluation
During the first year of life, required health testing and program evaluations are completed at Heritage Manor's expense. Once evaluations are complete, Heritage Manor Labradoodles will determine whether the puppy will enter our breeding program in accordance with our program standards.
If selected, the puppy continues in the program, under the terms of the Guardian Agreement.
If Heritage Manor elects not to include the puppy in the breeding program, full ownership will be transferred to the guardian/forever family at no cost, and the dog will remain your beloved companion for life.
Is This Partnership Right for You?
Guardian homes are limited and carefully selected. We seek loving families who understand this opportunity is about stewardship, not savings.
If this resonates with your family's lifestyle and values, we invite you to complete our Guardian Application. After reviewing your application, we will schedule a time to discuss the program in greater detail and answer your questions.
For the right family, guardianship is more than a program - it is a partnership rooted in trust and shared purpose.
If this speaks to you, we welcome your application and the opportunity to begin a conversation.
