Pool Safety Tips
Make a splash and stay safe! If you plan on visiting the pool with your dogs this summer follow these tips for a fun and safe pool trip!
Teach your dog how to enter the pool safely and guide them to locate the stairs for a smooth exit. Make sure they know their way around the pool.
Watch their water intake – drinking excessive chlorinated pool water can upset their stomach. Be sure to offer fresh water nearby.
Never leave your dog unsupervised with pool access. Create a secure environment by installing a locked gate that separates your dog from the pool area when you're not actively watching.
Check the water temperature before letting your dog jump in. Note that only a handful of breeds are equipped for extremely chilly water.
